Viktor Gyökeres was born and raised in Stockholm, where he began playing football at the age of five with local club IFK Aspudden-Tellus. He later joined IF Brommapojkarna’s youth setup, developing into one of Sweden’s promising young forwards. Gyökeres has Hungarian heritage through his paternal grandfather, who emigrated to Sweden.
