Bugatti La Voiture Noire is the most expensive car in the world. It debuted at $12.5 m and post-tax selling price of $18.7 m. Bugatti La Voiture Noire was a Type 57 SC Atlantic that got lost during World War II. Only one of the Bugatti La Voiture Noire was produced. Bugatti La Voiture Noire has quad-turbo W16 8.0-liter engine with 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 Newton-meters (1,180 pound-feet) of torque.

2. Rolls Royce Sweptail

Rolls Royce Sweptail was manufactured by Rolls Royce motors in the United Kingdom in 2017. Rolls Royce Sweptail was sold at an unconfirmed price of $12.8 m to Sam Li, a Hong Kong based billionaire. Only one was made. It was the most expensive car till Bugatti La Voiture Noire was made.

3. Mercedes Maybach Exelero

Bugatti Divo was manufactured by Bugatti SAS in 2019. It was named after a French racing driver Alberto Divo. Bugatti Divo is a mid engine all wheel drive sports car. It’s sold at $5.8 m. Only 40 of Bugatti Divo were made. All units of the Bugatti Divo were sold to owners of Bugatti Chiron.

Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita was manufactured by a Swedish auto industry Koenigsegg Automobiles in 2006. It first debuted in Geneva auto shows in 2006. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita is one of the most expensive cars in the world. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita was sold at $4.8 million. There were only 2 CCXR Trevitas.
