Rivers State is located in the South-South region of Nigeria. Rivers State produces an average of 290,000 barrels of crude oil daily. Crude oil production in Rivers State make up about 21.43% of crude oil production in Nigeria.

4. Bayelsa

Bayelsa despite being one of the smallest state in Nigeria is one of countries that produce the most crude oil in Nigeria. Crude oil production in Bayelsa make up about 18.07% of oil production in Nigeria. Bayelsa State produce an average of 290,000 barrels of crude oil daily

5. Ondo

Surprisingly, crude oil production in Ondo state surpasses that of some states in the Niger Delta region. Ondo is one of the top oil producing state in Nigeria with up-to 60,000 barrel of oil per day. Oil production in Ondo state make up-to 3.74% of oil production in Nigeria.
