Simphiwe Dana attended Vela Private School in Mthatha. She proceeded to obtain her National Diploma in IT at the Wits Technikon, Johannesburg.
Career and Musics
Simphiwe Dana started singing as a child in her father’s church.
In 2002, she started professionally as a musician singing in small clubs in Johannesburg.
In 2004, she released her debut album ‘Zandisile’. Zandisile album had a lot of impact in the South African music industry. The album won several awards and gained success in the Billboard charts.
