Kayode Badru popularly known as Omoba Dubai was a Nigerian socialite and businessman. He died on 5th May, 2021 in a candle light accident.

Death
On May 9th, 2021 there were report in various media outlet about the death of Kayode Badru who died in a candle light accident at Celestial Church of Christ Imole parish, Nureni Yusuf Way, Alagbado area of Lagos.
According to reports, Kayode Badru arrived Nigeria for the graduation of 40 students he sponsored through Academy for Innovative Arts and Technology (ACIATECH).
His death occurred at during a church service. Kayode Badru was asked to kneel for prayers while holding a lighted candle and lighted candles around him.
His body caught fire after the pastor poured anointing perfume on him.
Kayode Badru was rushed to a hospital in Gbagada, Lagos where he died on May 5th, 2021.
Personal life
On 20th May 2017, Kayode Badru got married to his wife Kofoworola Adedeji. He is the son of Prot Badru.
