Temitope Balogun Joshua popularly known as TB Joshua is a Nigerian pastor, televangelist and philanthropist. He was the founder and general overseer of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) and also runs a christian TV station Emmanuel TV. TB Joshua was born on June 12, 1963 in Arigidi Akoko, Osun, Nigeria.

Educational Background
TB Joshua attended St. Stephen’s Anglican Primary School in Arigidi Akoko where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1977.
Career and Church
TB Joshua was referred to as small pastor while in school because of his love for the Bible. He used to organize bible schools for children in his locality.
He attempted joining the Nigerian Army but his dream was thwarted after the train he boarded broke down and left him stranded en route to the military academy.
TB Joshua started his ministry, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) after he received a vision from God.

The SCOAN has been described as “Nigeria’s biggest tourist attraction” and “the most visited destination by religious tourists in West Africa.
In 2008, TB Joshua was honored with the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) by the Nigerian government and the Yoruba man of the decade by the Pan-Yoruba media outlet Irohin-Odua.
He was also listed as one of the top 50 most influential African by the Pan-African magazines The Africa Report and New African Magazine.
TB Joshua was the most viewed christian ministry before he was suspended.
TB Joshua is popular not just in Nigeria but across Africa and Latin America. He has over 3.5 million fans across his Facebook and over 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
Forbes Magazine reported that TB Joshua spent $20 million for the education and rehabilitation of Niger Delta Militants. He donated over N26m towards restoring electricity and putting an end to over two years of power outage in four councils in Akoko area of Ondo State.
