HRH Eze I.O. Asor was a Nigerian traditional ruler and educationist. He was the traditional ruler and Udi 1 of Obudi Agwa ancient kingdom, in Imo state. HRH Eze I.O. Asor was born on October 1952 in Obudi Agwa, Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
Educational Background
St Theresa Primary School. First School Leaving in Ilorin. He obtained a bachelors degree from the University College, Ilorin, Kwara state.
Career
HRH Eze I.O. Asor was an employed as a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he worked for two years before moving to the University of Ibadan where he worked for 25 years.
He was a pioneer staff of the University of Ilorin. He worked in the University for 25 years before his voluntary retirement to be crowned tea traditional ruler.
HRH Eze I.O. Asor was a prominent traditional ruler in Imo state, Nigeria. He was the traditional ruler of Obudi Agwa ancient kingdom in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
HRH Eze I.O. Asor was crowned the traditional ruler of Obudi Agwa ancient kingdom on 28th December,1998.

HRH Eze I.O. Asor was married to many wives with children and grand children . He was a Christian of Igbo origin.
Death
HRH Eze I.O. Asor was assassinated by gunmen on November 14, 2022 while having a meeting with his cabinet members. He was 70 years old.
