Seyi Vibez started his music career in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria, his breakthrough, however, came in 2021 when he made his single ‘God Sent’ available. Controversies
On the 29th of December 2022, a post was shared on Twitter by a user saying Seyi Vibez used the prayer recordings by a certain cleric who posted the content on the social media app Tik Tok. According to the cleric, he recorded the prayers sampled in the opening seconds of the track ‘Kun Faya Kun’ in the exclusive version of Seyi Vibez’s latest album ‘Billion Dollar Baby and he used it without Acknowledging him. Portable also accused him of imitating Asake’s style of music, he claimed Seyi Vibez is always copying Asake’s pattern of doing things.
