Educational Background

Gbenga Shobo attended St Gregory’s College, Lagos where he obtained his SSCE certificate. He proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ike Ife where he obtained a degree in Political Science.

He is an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management and Harvard Business School. Shobo also attended the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and Stanford University.

Career

Gbenga Shobo started his career as an External Auditor and Tax Consultant with Coopers and Lybrand Chartered Accountants. He proceeded to become the Divisional Head, Corporate Banking Division of MBC International Bank Limited.

He was a General Manager, Corporate/Commercial Banking of FBN (Merchant Bankers) Limited.
