Educational Background
Tunde Kelani attended Oke-Ona Primary School in Ikija, Abeokuta. He proceeded to Abeokuta grammar school. Tunde Kelani studied Film making at the London Film School.
Career and Movies
Tunde Kelani gained experience in rich Yoruba culture, Yoruba religion, Yoruba literature, Yoruba philosophy, Yoruba environments and Yoruba world view in arts at close quarters while living with his grand father in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
While Tunde Kelani was in secondary school, he devoted time to learning photography and later trained at Western Nigeria Television (WNTV).
In the 70s, Tunde Kelani worked as a correspondence for BBC TV and Reuters. He later worked with Nigerian TV.
He covered the drought in Ethiopia and three Independence Day celebrations in Zimbabwe for Reuters.
After graduation from London Film School, he returned to Nigeria to co produce his first movie The Dilema of Rev. Father Michael with Adebayo Faleti.
