DJ Zinhle attended Siyamukela High School in Emadadeni, Newcastle. She holds a degree in marketing from University of Johannesburg
Career
DJ Zinhle started her career as a DJ in 2004. Though she had interests in becoming a TV presenter, her passion for DJ grew while watching his brother mix songs.
She gained popularity after she became a resident DJ for Jika Majika, a youth dance show aired on SABC 1.
DJ Zinhle worked with popular South African musician Boom Shaka on the album I Put It In. The album featured artists like Dr Malinga, Khanyi Mbau, Mphoza, and many more.

In 2019, DJ Zinhle released a hit single “Umlilo”. Umuilo by DJ Zinhle gained over 5million streams across music platforms and was certified a 3x platinum by the Recording industry of South Africa (RISA).
DJ Zinhle headlined the Zimfest 2019 live concert, a Zimbabwean festival held in England in 2019 and the Sisters with Soul concert with Amanda Black in 2020.
DJ Zinhle have been named one of the most powerful women in South Africa by African women by Oprah magazine and Channel 24.
She headlined the inaugural Res Bull Music experience in Cape Town in 2020 and co-hosted 1’s and 2’s with DJ Tira and DJ Speedsta; a talent show competition on Sabc 1.
