Oba Adetunji started his career as a fashion designer before delving into musical record marketing.

Oba Adetunji was the Balogun of Ibadan before his coronation as the Olubadan of Ibadan.
On March 4, 2016, Oba Adetunji was crowned the the 41st Olubadan of Ibadan following the death of Samuel Odulana Odungade I.
