Alex Ekubo attended Federal Government College Daura, Katsina State where he obtained his SSCE certificate. He proceeded to study Law at the University of Calabar and a diploma in law from Calabar Polytechnic.

Alex Ekubo started acting in 2005. He featured in Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen’s Sinners in the House. He had his major role in the movie Ladies Men.
In 2010, Alex Ekubo contested for the Mr Nigeria Pageant.
