The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme is an annual youth empowerment program organized by billionaire banker and business man Tony Elumelu. The 2021 edition of the Tony Elumelu Foundation TEF Entrepreneurship Programme have commenced.
TEF Entrepreneurship Programme empowers 1000 young African entrepreneurs selected from the 2020 cohort and 2400 young African entrepreneurs in the 2021 edition.
It is aimed at
- prioritizing the economic recovery of small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) as well as young African entrepreneurs, following the Covid-19 disruption to economic activities.
- addressing the unique challenges arising from the pandemic
- To lift millions out of poverty and
- create sustainable employment across the continent Africa.
Successful candidates receive a world-class business training, mentorship, non-refundable seed capital up to $5,000, and global networking opportunities.
