Career
Sunday Igboho started his career as an auto mechanic and motorcycle repairer. However, during the Ife-Modakeke war, he joined the frontline of the war.

Sunday Igboho issues quit notice to Fulani herdsmen
In January 2021, Sunday Igboho issued a quit notice to Fulani herdsmen in Ibarapa North Local Government.
According to reports, he gave a 7 days ultimatum for Fulani residents in Ibarapa to leave.
Igboho accused Fulani herdsmen for being responsible for series of death and kidnapping in the community including the death of Oyo businessman, Fatai Aborode, Alhaja Serifat Adisa and her children, an Igangan prince and many others.
The Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde while reacting to the ultimatum cautioned against issueing quit notice ultimatum to Fulani herdsmen in Oyo State.
The Leader of Fulani community in Oyo state Seriki Fulani, Alhaji Abdulkadir, said the misunderstanding surrounding the quit notice will be resolved soon.

On Friday 22nd January 2021, Igboho and his supporters were alleged to have invaded Fulani residence in Ibarapa town. Reacting to the invasion, Alhaji Abdulkadir said the invaders burnt cars and houses in his residence, but Igboho debunked the claims.
IGP orders the arrest of Igboho
On 23rd January 2021, The Inspector General of Police Mohammed Adamu ordered the arrest of Yoruba born freedom fighter Sunday Igboho.
IGP Adamu issued warrant for Igboho’s arrest over controversies surrounding the quit notice issued by Igboho and his supporters.
