Educational Background
Seyi Shay attended Command High School in Maryland, Lagos. She proceeded to study Music Business management at the University of East London.
Career and Musics
Seyi Shay picked interest in music at the age of 6. She was a member of the church choir and used to perform in her secondary school days.
Seyi Shay performed for the London Community Gospel Choir during their world tour, which included 13 cities in Japan.
In 2006, Seyi Shay formed ‘Boadicea’, a UK based girl band managed by Ron Tom, the founder and manager of All Saints and Sugababe. She was a lead vocalist for the now defunct girl group From Above in 2009.
Seyi Shay came to the limelight in the music industry after she signed a record deal with No Apology record label founded by George Martin.
She produced the soundtrack of the Konami’s video game, Crime Life: Gang Wars.
